These reviews focus on our guest’s needs. One day you may want a fine dine and another day, Mexican, so there is a wide range of offerings. The restaurants chosen are reasonably consistent in the quality of their food and in their service. The atmosphere of the restaurants, while varied, are all interesting. You will find that all of the restaurants offer excellent value.
Currently, none of the restaurants in Cheyenne take reservations. However the wait is seldom longer than 20 minutes. We can also call to find if a restaurant is busy.

The Albany Restaurant
This Café offers very good food in a very casual setting. We call it 1950’s food. It is located five blocks from here across the street from the Cheyenne Depot Plaza in an old hotel building that Adolph Coors owned for a while. The atmosphere is simple with booths and old Cheyenne photographs on the walls. The Prime Rib and the Open-Faced Hot Turkey Sandwich are exemplary. Serving lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. Seating lunch 11 am to 5 pm and dinner 5 pm to 9 pm.
Located right next door, this family run restaurant provides authentic mexican food.
Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily from 7:00 am until 9:00 pm.
Mexican food is the flair of this fun well decorated restaurant. Located a block and a half from us on Lincolnway, it is also convenient. The colors and music of Mexico provide the backdrop for a fun and flavorful meal. Serving lunch and dinner daily from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.
This southern Italian restaurant offers good food and service. It is located north of the airport near the mall and big box stores. About a 10 minute drive. The atmosphere is a nice New York clean and comfortable. The entrance is through a pizzeria but do not be alarmed. Serving lunch Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and serving dinner daily from 4:00 to 9:00 pm.
The best greasy spoon in five states, this local jewel is housed in an old trolley car with some fun train memorabilia. The menu is just what you imagine. Serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week. 1401 West Lincolnway, right on Lincolnway about 1 1/2 miles on the left.
Morris House Bistro
This little upscale bistro offers up great food, service, & ambiance. The menu features a touch of southern low country. Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and Sunday Brunch. reservations are suggested and may be made online. It’s just 4 and a half blocks north at 2114 Warren Ave. The house has a promanate history.
Nagle Warren Mansion
Entertain your guests in the comfortable elegance of the Mansion. We offer fine dine American food for parties of all kinds. Breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, murder Murder Mystery Dinners and weddings just for starters. Our warm and genial staff will attend to each of your guests. You can be the convivial host while we are for the details.
Poor Richard’s Restaurant
This upscale restaurant has a very broad menu including Salads, steaks, veal, seafood, pasta and a salad bar. There is also a comfortable lounge. It is located one and a half miles east (left turn) on Lincolnway (watch for Pizza Hut on the right.) The English atmosphere with some antiques and stained glass make this a comfortable dining experience. Serving dinner Sunday thru Thursday from 5:00 to 10:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 to 11:00 pm.
2 Doors Down
2 Doors Down is a gourmet hamburger quick service restaurant. After ordering you can be seated and the server delivers your food. It’s a comfortable atmosphere and only a block to the right when you go out the front door. Lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.
Sanford’s Pub and Grub
This pub style restaurant offers a very large menu and a very large selection of beers both on tap and in the bottle. It is located one block west (right) on 17th Street. The junkyard atmosphere gives you plenty to look at and then adds TV for sports. Yes, it does do a bit of a watering hole business but there are plenty of families there also. Serving lunch and dinners daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Shadows Brewery Pub
Fun sports bar and pub located in the Cheyenne Depot, a five block walk. Watch the Union Pacific trains go by or your favorite team on the tube. Featuring a fairly wide and varied selection of pub food. Serving lunch and dinner daily 11:00 am until 10:00 pm.
Twin Dragon Restaurant
This Chinese restaurant has very good mid America Chinese food. It is located five blocks away on Carey Avenue. The atmosphere is simple and reflects its Chinese nature. Serving all day lunch and dinners daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Hathaway’s Restaurant at Little America Hotel
This restaurant offers American style food in an elegant setting. Located in the Little America Hotel Resort, 4 miles west (right turn) on Lincolnway. Serving lunch daily from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and dinners daily from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
